Lou Dobb's departure from CNN is meaningless to the Americans capable of thinking out of the flock
The clear thinking individuals who realize and understand the line between commentary and reporting will continue to accept Lou's opinions for what they are --food for thought, and certainly independent of the network he represented. Opinions provoke thought, and when presented by experienced news professionals like Lou, or Bill O'Reilly, the ideas often reveal relevant facts that are otherwise overlooked, distorted, and dismissed by mainstream media.
Of course opinions have no merit or value without challenge, focus, and scrutiny. Just ask that feller, Glenn Beck. Take a look at the news outlets providing commentary from both sides and you'll discover a reliable AND successful source for fact-based news.
So, let the open-minded tune in to few possibilities, and the others, well....just stay with your thinning flock as they approach that perilous cliff ahead (at least you wont get eaten by the big bad wolf). Keep up the excellence Lou!

Guns
Americans don't love guns. Americans love freedom. American's cherish their right to own and to use firearms, if necessary, to defend those freedoms.
This truth is so basic that even left wing moonbats should understand it: Guns don't kill people, people kill people. There's another little old saying that I like more. "If guns are outlawed, only the government will have guns." Actually, that's not quite correct. Only the government and the criminals will have guns.
And another little reminder: Blaming guns is the easy way out. If you blame guns for violence in the inner city, you don't have to address the black culture of violence. If you blame guns for Ft. Hood, you don't have to address the Islamic culture of violence. You focus on objects, not people, and objects don't vote. You're safe in your left wing Utopian fantasyland.

Pay The $15,000 or go to jail
You think the new health care bill is free? Bwah! If you or an employer refuses to comply with the bill once it becomes law, you will be fined and can be sent to jail. No? Read on!
Prosecution is authorized under the Code for a variety of offenses. Depending on the level of the noncompliance, the following penalties could apply to an individual:
• Section 7203 – misdemeanor willful failure to pay is punishable by a fine of up to $25,000 and/or imprisonment of up to one year.
• Section 7201 – felony willful evasion is punishable by a fine of up to $250,000 and/or imprisonment of up to five years.”

What It Means
Yesterday, in the dead of night, the U.S. House of Representatives took a small step for Nancy Pelosi and a giant step for despotism.
Freedom, David Hume famously observed, is seldom lost all at once. More often, it leaks out slowly. The petty tyranny of good intentions colludes with the bureaucratic imperative to stymie individual initiative and barter liberty for the sake of central control.
Last night, it happened by a slender margin: 220 votes to 215. Thirty-nine Democrats voted against the 1900-page bill. One Republican — first- and (I suspect) last-term Anh Cao of Louisiana — voted for it. You can see the entire roster of votes at http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2009/roll887.xml. Did your congressman just vote to further impoverish the country, rob you of choice in managing your medical care, and arrogate to Washington decisions that should be left to the individual? Consult that list and remember next year and in 2012.
Pace Nancy Pelosi, you do not have to put up with this economically disastrous assault on freedom. You still — just barely — have a say in how you are governed. Please do not fritter it away. Slowly, now not slowly, your prerogatives are being whittled away as bureaucrats in Washington tell you what, and what not, to eat, how to light and heat your house, how much money you may make, what sort of car your must drive, how you must, and must not, educate your children, what sort of medical care you must, and must not, arrange for yourself.
I have in this space several times argued that the Obama administration’s efforts to take over health care is only incidentally concerned with enlarging or improving access to medical care. At bottom, it is about enlarging Washington’s control over your life.
David Harsanyi, in an excellent column at RealClearPolitics, provides a partial inventory of diminishment:

More regulation. Higher taxes. More fees. Is that what Nancy Pelosi means by “affordable health care”?
The economically ruinous dimension of this $1 trillion boondoggle names only part of the pain. There’s also the element of government coercion. As Harsanyi points out,
The word “shall” — as in “must” or “required to” — appears over 3,000 times. The word, alas, is never preceded by the patriotic phrase “mind our own freaking business.”
No, indeed. Minding your own business is not what the Obama administration or Nancy Pelosi is about. Lenin put it well 1917: “What socialism implies above all is keeping account of everything.” Last night, those who would be your masters in Washington took another step toward usurping one-sixth of the U.S. economy and arrogating to themselves control over your medical care. Here’s the question: are we sheep? Or are we free citizens?
I hope, I pray, that a critical mass of people will line up behind the second alternative. Obama speaks of Hope and Change. His hope is to transform the United States into a hamstrung socialist redoubt. His idea of change is to bleed the United States of its wealth, its military might, and the legacy of individual liberty that has made it a cynosure of freedom the world over. We do not have to let him and his czars and enablers do this to us. But the hour is late. If we do not vigorously challenge this government putsch at the polls, the chains now being forged may well be too heavy, too crippling, to be shaken off.

Part IV: More Thoughts On The Healthcare Bill
Every time the Congress makes a law with the word shall we lose a little more freedom. I wonder how many times that word will appear in the health care bill.
The health care debate has me thinking about the Constitution. Although it is one of the greatest documents ever written, it has a major flaw. It relies on us to be vigilant and maintain our own freedom. How could the Founding Fathers have imagined we would be so willing to rely on the government for our needs, sacrificing our freedom and liberty in the process? It’s strange to think of those who laid down their lives for freedom and now we are doing just the opposite.
The government cannot afford state-of-the-art health care for every person in this country. Our children and their children and their children’s children already are indebted. If you want the government to take care of you, pay for it now, not later. I know Obama claims this will be deficit-neutral, but that’s like saying, "I didn’t use my food stamps to buy beer; I used my own money for that."
When you wake up one day completely dependent on the government for all your needs, handing over to the government everything you produce and not nearly as prosperous as you are now, remember this tidbit of mine.
Why the constitution?
We have a constitutional republic whose powers are supposed to be limited by that constitution. The framers of which intentionally made it difficult to change so that a 53% majority could not come in and re-write the rules government is supposed to operate under.
Unfortunately government (and not just this president) has chosen to ignore those rules. Some people should spend some time reading the constitution, paying special attention to the 10th amendment.

Barack Obama is a Goddamned liar
Obama lied when he said that the Democrat's plan would allow anyone who is currently satisfied with their plan to keep it. And if they are happy with their doctor, they can keep their physician as well.
But anyone who has taken the time to read this 1018 page bill, (thanks for nothing, John Conyers), finds that if your employer decides that Obamacare is a more cost-effective way to go, you are stuck with the government plan. You cannot opt to switch to another private carrier on your own once Obamacare takes effect. If you're self-employed and are dissatisfied with your current provider once the government plan is passed, you can only switch to Obamacare. If you are uninsured at the time Obamacare is passed, that is your only option. And if you choose not to enroll, you will be subject to a punitive tax.

We in America actually have quite a bit of socialized medicine.
Not only are there the free clinics (some private non-profit, some government), but we also have the Veterans Administration health care system for veterans and their dependents.
Then we have Medicare, which is government health care “insurance” for the elderly and disabled.
Then there is a joint federal/state government program called Medicaid, which is health care “insurance” for low income households and individuals.
And finally there is SCHIP (State Children’s Health Insurance Program) to cover uninsured children in families with incomes that are modest but too high to qualify for Medicaid.
Many of the so-called uninsured in this country are actually people who qualify for Medicare, Medicaid or SCHIP and just have not signed up for it.
In fact, one of the biggest myths being perpetrated by the mainstream media and power hungry politicians on both sides of the isle is this figure of 45-50 million Americans having no health insurance.
According to the Census Bureau report “Income, Poverty, and Health Insurance Coverage in the United States: 2005,” it puts the initial number of uninsured people living in the country at 46.577 million.
A closer look at that report reveals the Census data include 9.487 million people who are “not a citizen.” Subtracting the 10 million non-Americans, the number of uninsured Americans falls to roughly 37 million.
But according to the same Census report, there are 8.3 million uninsured people who make between $50,000 and $74,999 per year and 8.74 million who make more than $75,000 a year. That’s roughly 17 million people who ought to be able to “afford” health insurance because they make substantially more than the median household income of $46,326.
Subtracting non-citizens and those who can afford their own insurance but choose not to purchase it, about 20 million people are left – less than 7 percent of the population. And many of those would qualify for Medicaid and Medicare if they would but apply.
So, to fix a seeming health care coverage gap for much less than 7 percent of the population, the Federal government is proposing becoming a massive new Federal government competitor to all private-sector insurers (in addition to the 2 we already have), but this time, they are going to pass a tsunami of new laws and regulations on private-sector insurers that will only “ensure” their demise – except for maybe all but the most wealthy Americans and, of course, Congress – who has already said they will not opt into the same system all American’s will be REQUIRED (read that FORCED) to be on.

More Thoughts On The Healthcare Bill
The legislation that we are debating would set up the Federal government as a direct competitor to private-sector insurance companies. That's what the bill does. It’s unconstitutional. But hey, that’s not a problem for the Federal government these days. That document might as well be toilet paper the way it is treated.
On top of setting up the government as a direct competitor, the legislation also creates an enormous number of new and punitive laws and regulations on private-sector insurance companies that will drive their costs even higher than they are now just in compliance costs. These increased costs are going to make it basically impossible for private-sector insurance companies to compete with the Federal Government as a provider of health care insurance because the Federal government doesn’t have to earn a single penny in profit. The Federal government takes. It doesn't earn shit.
Are ya with me so far?
Now then, the vast majority of American’s already have some form of private-sector health care insurance, many of them have that insurance provided for by their employers. This is a significant cost for those businesses right now – and with the new laws and regulations this legislation will impose, these costs will rise dramatically. This will force those employers to dump their private-sector plans and put their employees on the government-run health care plan.
As the private-sector insurers client base contracts and costs escalate, they will have no choice but to go out of business.
THIS will leave EVERY American DEPENDING on the Federal government to provide health care insurance. This means that all citizens (since this bill also DEMANDS that ALL citizens have health care insurance or be fined) will now be dealing with the Federal government when it comes to receiving ANY health care.
The Federal government makes NOTHING easy. There will be rafts of paper work, multiple levels of bureaucracy to wade through for even the most simple of decisions and the Federal government will know EVERYTHING there is to know about your personal life through your medical records.
This is an UNPRECEDENTED Federal government intrusion on our private lives. It will only be a matter of time before personal lifestyle choices will effected. If you smoke, then you don’t get that cardiac bypass; if you eat fast food, then you can’t have that hip or knee replacement; if you drink alcohol, don’t exercise, drink too much soda, and the list goes on, then your access to health care will be impacted. The Federal government will begin mandating acceptable behaviors if one wishes free access to health care.
This bill isn’t being pushed just to cover only those people who currently have no insurance. In fact, a cynical person would tell you health care insurance and health care itself has nothing to do with this push for a government takeover of health care – it's all about seizing ever more power unto the Federal government.
You see, many of those that do not currently have health care insurance are either young and healthy and would rather spend their money on something other than insurance, or are older adults who are wealthy enough to self-insure – that is, pay for their own health care needs on their own. So, the Federal government is constantly lying by overstating the number of people who are uninsured and making it sound like these people just can’t afford it without the Federal government becoming involved.
The truly indigent always have recourse to any emergency room in any hospital in America – the ER cannot turn ANYONE away simply because they don’t have the means to pay for their care. Then there is Medicare and Medicaid.
Right now, the Federal government has access to ALL of your personal financial information through the income tax system – if this bill passes, the Federal government will also have access to ALL of your personal health care records, including any mental health care records.
With that, there is not a single aspect of your life that the Federal government will not be aware of.
There are precious few areas of our lives that are not touched by the Federal government – from our personal choices in a vast array of products, where we live, how we live, what we do, what we can’t do; there are so, many, MANY Federal laws are regulations that NO person could possibly know all of them – they number in the hundreds of thousands. We are no longer truly free citizens capable of making our own decisions.
This, folks, is what you keep voting into office. You keep allowing these politicians to subvert and control you!

A Few Thoughts On The Healthcare Bill
You see, in America we still cling to that novel notion that the Federal government should have to follow the laws of the land as they expect us to so. There are still enough Americans (despite the best efforts of our government schools) who believe that our Constitution should mean something and that she not be openly and blatantly flaunted by our elected representatives.
Such concepts might seem foreign to liberals but I assure you they are not foreign to a great, great many Americans.
This bill sets up the Federal Government (which can lay tax, print its own money and change the rules almost at will) as a direct competitor to private-sector health care insurers - which HAVE TO make a profit to exist, HAVE TO produce a product or service that PEOPLE WANT and will consider valuable enough to part with their hard-earned dollars for it.... and all of this on top of having to comply with a mind-numbing array of Federal government regulations and laws which already significantly impair the profitability of these companies in an already competitive market!
The Federal government as a competitor does not have to make a single dime in profit, it does not have to provide prompt and courteous service, it does not have to provide state-of-the-art procedures or technologies.
And if that weren't enough, the Federal government as a competitor has the power to change the rules in it's favor (which this bill does in a massive way which is the death of free-market competitors), to seize more of the taxpayers dollars to pay for inevitable and costly inefficiencies, waste and fraud inherent in any massive government program (of which have many even now - all of which are broke), and if the taxpayers can't provide enough they can always borrow from China or print some more money (like we're doing now - without a massive new government expenditure on health care that fixes nothing).
This is economics 101 stuff here. If this bill passes it will be the end of private-sector health care insurers - PERIOD!

But hey... what do I know? I've only lived for 40 some odd years - and read the constitution itself countless times.
Ultimately, it's all about control. Nothing more. Government control!

Congrats, Al Franken
The Democrat Party now has its own comedian in the Senate. This is fine really, because i want the Democrat Party to own the Obama agenda lock, stock, and barrel.
The goofball Republicans in Congress, this way, cannot step into it as they often do and get the blame for Democrat disasters.

Another ruling from Sotomayor that's been reversed
I find it ironic that the very body she has been nominated for continues to slap down her rulings at a very high percentage. She's now 1-6 on her rulings that made it to the USSC. How can she possibly be fit for the Supreme Court?
Anyone with all her issues that would be nominated by a Republican would never make it even this far in the process. Obama picked the most extreme candidate and figures he can use his popularity to get her in and then any pick after her should be easy because they will compare them to her extreme nature.
She is a horrible candidate for our highest court. Even many of her own colleagues have stated her ruling are not based on law, including a prominent latino judge. Where is all this publicity in the media? Null and void, as usual. Wouldn't want any baaaaad press regarding our Messiah and his pick.
By the way, she isn't the first latino to be nominated to the Supreme Court, you can thank a Republican for that and the Democrats for killing it.
At the end of the day I simply want people on the court that understand the Constitution, the reason our nation was founded (freedom) and rule on the law and not personal feelings. I don't care what race, sex or religion they are. Just put the best people on the court and not political hacks.

Obama picked the most extreme candidate and figures he can use his popularity to get her in and then any pick after her should be easy because they will compare them to her extreme nature.
She is a horrible candidate for our highest court. Even many of her own colleagues have stated her ruling are not based on law, including a prominent latino judge. Where is all this publicity in the media? Null and void, as usual. Wouldn't want any baaaaad press regarding our Messiah and his pick.
By the way, she isn't the first latino to be nominated to the Supreme Court, you can thank a Republican for that and the Democrats for killing it.
At the end of the day I simply want people on the court that understand the Constitution, the reason our nation was founded (freedom) and rule on the law and not personal feelings. I don't care what race, sex or religion they are. Just put the best people on the court and not political hacks.

The great fallacy
Obama's stimulus legislation is a great fallacy.
As reported in the Star-Tribune newspaper, 1/2 of 1% of the road construction funds are in use. $400,000 to synchronize traffic lights. How many long term jobs did that produce again? I fail to see all the jobs that were to be created by the "urgent" passing of this bill. Remember when the spending bill had to be passed right away even without time to read what it contained because Obama had to have it passed or the country would never recover? The only good I can see is that the votes of the UAW are probably going to him. Yeah, let's get gov't run health care, too. I want to see that move through the federal bureaucracy like this Bumbulus Bill here. But liberals always have a dumb excuse for everything.
If government spending was the way to a strong economy, the Soviet Union would have been an economic juggernaut. All of this public borrowing squeezes out private borrowing, which will in turn hurt economic growth. The government cannot create wealth it can only redistribute it.
And now, i find out that with the Minnesota Dept. of Transportation, 37 projects and the 124 jobs had NOTHING to do with the stimulus money. I read that the money was appropriated late last Summer by the DOT long before Obama took office. Last fall, the MnDOT announced the projects and new jobs that would be needed for those projects. They started taking applications for those jobs at the end of November and stated the jobs would start in or by April and that the money for those projects was already appropriated. The Star-Tribune has decided to make it look like those jobs and projects were part of the stimulus (imagine that). It takes months of planning for those projects and months to hire people for them and they mention the month of May like it all happened overnight. No jobs have been created and no jobs have been saved.
Any jobs created by the stimulus-pork bill appear to be temporary. This money will disappear and not be accounted for just like the money disappeared to the banks. Komrade Obama is giving money to the wrong people. People already on welfare and corporate heads don't create jobs, they just take the money and run. Money and tax breaks should have been given to working class Americans to spend as they see fit. This would stimulate the economy and the free market system would take care of itself. Obama's socialist-welfare programs are designed for political purposes by the government to take over corporations, banks, the internet, the media and to regulate and control every aspect of our free enterprise system and our lives. The nation has been taken over by a piece-of-shit socialist.
Change indeed.

What a week
First it was Ed McMahon. Now Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson have died. What a week.
Predictably, most people are coming out of the woodwork to mourn Jackson. It's a shame that McMahon and Fawcett's accomplishments will be overshadowed by a pedophile. America, the only country in this world where a black kid can grow up to be a white female.
So what's next? Naming streets in our communities Michael Jackson Blvd? How about another State and Federal holiday?

Barbara Boxer and the General
Does Barbara Boxer really think she worked hard for the title Senator? It was a title given to her by the people who voted for her — nothing more, nothing less. She is a public servant and should remember that the title she was awarded — yes, awarded — is conditional. It takes no special talent, skill, ability, education or knowledge to be a public servant. (That’s one of many things our Founding Fathers implemented that makes the United States great.)
While some would argue it takes leadership to attain the title Senator, I contend it takes arrogance and an overinflated ego to reject what was meant to be a respectful address from a man who clearly has more class, more education, more experience, more knowledge and obviously more manners than a self-important elected official with a chip on her shoulder that means more to her than the matter being discussed. Brig. Gen. Michael Walsh was following military protocol; Boxer revealed her priorities.
Walsh acted like an officer and gentleman, while Boxer was neither senatorial nor ladylike in her petty redress. Walsh worked for his title, his degrees (plural), his commissions, his ribbons, and his status — through blood, sweat and tears — not votes. His title is earned and irrevocable; it does not come with a 2010 expiration date.

On illegal immigration
Our politicians keep telling us our Immigration laws are broken and we need an comprehensive solution (which are code words for Amnesty). Our immigration laws are not broken. They just haven't been enforced. What is broken is our political system when we elect corrupt/pandering politicians that put their desires ahead of the Constitution of USA and the Rule of Law!
Our government fails the most basic and primary task -- duty of government, to protect this nation and its citizens from invasion and enforce its laws.
They refuse to abide by our Constitution, refuse to enforce our immigration laws and refuse to honor their Oath of Office! Why? Political correctness. Fear of offending a race of people in fear of being labeled... you guessed it... a racist. That there is a very effective tool of the far left. Very effective.
Our government -- past & present -- Republican & Democrat -- have allowed the invasion of 20 to 40 million criminals and uneducated peons which is the largest invasion of any nation at any time by any means & in direct violation of Article IV, Section IV of our Constitution. Go look that Article up.
This refusal to abide by our Constitution and enforce our immigration laws should be classified as treason of the most foul kind. Even grounds for impeachment & trials for treason!
Not only have they allowed the invasion, they force American tax payers to pay billions on billions of dollars to provide welfare, prison cells, education of the invaders numerous children, and free medical care. And at the same time, the invading horde break numerous laws and massive document fraud and are destroying our schools, hospitals, communities, culture and standard of living while robbing, raping, killing and assaulting American citizens at an rate the terrorist can only dream about.
Recent statements in Mexico from both President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary, something needs to be done. "Our inability to prevent weapons from being illegally smuggled across the border to arm these criminals causes the deaths of police officers, soldiers, and civilians," she said.
But no mention, concern or care that their refusal to stop the massive invasion of illegal aliens pouring across our borders or enforce our immigration laws that causes an estimated 25 Americans deaths per day. No mention of the tens of thousands of victims of assault, robberies, rapes, identity theft and other assorted crimes committed by the invading horde of illegal aliens from Mexico on American citizens each year. None!
Most of our Politicians in Washington D.C. are wading knee deep in innocent American blood and suffering because they put politics ahead of the welfare of American citizens and the future of this Nation. The welfare vote for the Democrats to further their socialist agenda and the slave labor for their pay masters in the Chamber of Commerce and business for the Republicans is more important to our corrupt power mad politicians than the lives and safety of Americans citizens.
The citizens of this great nation have not sacrificed with blood, sweat and tears for over 200 years and obeyed the laws of the land, paid the taxes, fought wars and built this nation to see corrupt politicians turn this nation into the United States of Mexico without a shot being fired, to serve their demented, nefarious goals and lust for power.

2nd Amendment and the U.S. Code on Militia's

A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
Gun grabbers always try to pervert this amendment by talking out the side of their necks when it comes to the meaning of a militia. So, i did the hard work for the retarded liberals out there.
In the United States Code (USC) is a compilation and codification of the general and permanent federal law of the United States. It contains 50 titles and is published every six years by the Office of the Law Revision Counsel of the US House of Representatives.

Title 10, U.S. Code, Chapter 13, Section 311
(a) The militia of the United States consists of all able-bodied
males at least 17 years of age and, except as provided in section
313 of title 32, under 45 years of age who are, or who have made a
declaration of intention to become, citizens of the United States
and of female citizens of the United States who are members of the
National Guard.
(b) The classes of the militia are -
(1) the organized militia, which consists of the National Guard
and the Naval Militia; and
(2) the unorganized militia, which consists of the members of
the militia who are not members of the National Guard or the
Naval Militia.
Kinda blows the argument gun-grabbers use when they twist of the meaning of 'the militia'.

What you and the nat'l media are ignoring is that people left the Repub party but they haven't gone Democrat or liberal. They left, for sure. But they're sick and tired of what the GOP did. So, we left.
People like me are sitting back quietly waiting. Obama isn't the problem with the nation. Bush wasn't the problem with the nation. It was the Repubs in congress under Bush. And it's the Dems in congress now under Obama.
This putrid bunch got control and have started ramming shit down our throats faster than Bush Repubs did in 2001. A lot faster.
Sure, people are sick of the money being spent in Washington. But informed people are seeing the other side of all this. There's quite a few laws being passed that are limiting our freedoms.... as we speak. Of course, the mainstream media isn't telling you about it. So, go looking. You'll find it.
Mark my words, conservatives/libertarian are going to bounce all the traitorous bastards out of office next year. Then Obama will have to compromise. Something that Bush never had to do... and Obama doesn't have to do right now. He talks a good game about bipartisanship. He's full of shit, too.

Specter a Dem?
Pennsylvania senator, Arlen Specter announced he's running as a Dem in the 2010 race. Good for him. His true stripes is as a Dem. That's where he should be. I didn't care for him. He's a classic RINO. Go! Begone! If you're going to be liberal, go Dem. If you're going to be conservative, go Repub or Libertarian.
He'll lose in this race. So, either way, it doesn't matter to me. His career is finished.

Well, thanks DFL'rs. The Minnesota Democrats in the state senate decided we have to have higher taxes.
What these pompous self-absorbed assholes don't seem to get is that there are people outside of the Twin City metro area that don't share their big gov't view. They don't get that there are people in the rural Minnesota area that happen to be conservative in nature. I've ran across plenty of rural Minnesotans that vote DFL but are so conservative tat it makes me wonder why they voe for these Brownshirts.
They and their fellow liberals call the Republicans the party of the rich. I'm not sure what party that is.
But then there's the Hollywood crowd that donates their expensive time, not their money, to push their agenda and then calls it a donation.
Ned Lamont, who ran against Joe Lieberman for the Connecticut Senate in 2006, is only the latest in a long line of Democrats who have self-financed their campaigns. He poured over $4 million of his $100 million fortune into the race.
In 2000, Democrat John Corzine poured $60 million of his own money to win a Senate seat in New Jersey.
Mark Dayton spent $12 million to win in Minnesota.
Maria Cantwell, $10 million in Washington and Herb Kohl $5 million to retain his seat in Wisconsin.
I'm not rich by any standard, but I'm also not fooled or lead to believe the message that the media has sold as truth, about how the liberals are helping the poor. They will say anything to get power. They use the poor to push their agenda and are profiting from it.
So, to make a long story short..... the DFL can go screw themselves.

We are in a private sector deficit, meaning that the taxes taken from the private sector isn't enough to pay for the cost of government. The main culprit is social programs.
The dumb masses like to state the constitution, where it says to promote the general Welfare.
First off, their misinterpretation of the meaning tells you of their ignorance.
Secondly, it’s in the preambles. It's a brief introductory statement of the fundamental purposes and guiding principles, not a law or process. The definition of a preamle is "an introductory and explanatory statement in a document that explains the document's purpose and underlying philosophy."
It’s the rest of the constitution that provides what government can and cannot do. Nowhere does it say, steal form the rich and give to the poor by the use of force when someone feels they deserve it.
Today's socialism is basically: politicians promise you something which has a monitory value, when he/she gets elected, he/she will use the force of government to take from others to provide said items, to maintain a following and/or stay in office, the politician must find other items that are considered a personal responsibility and convince 51% of the voters that government can do a better job and save them money, in which politician will tax the productive to pay for the unproductive (sheeple) until the majority are reliant on government, then the politicians will say their opponent wants to “take away your hard-earned (made up) benefits.”
